This one was a no-brainer to add to my Rocky Rivoli collection. It's beautiful and I loved this even more than I thought I would. I have it on a shelf near my desk and find myself looking at it all day, it keeps my spirits up. If you like Rocky, this is a perfect piece to own as it's a popular depiction of the Rocky character, yet it has a fresh take while still keeping the feel and tradition of the original painting.

I’m not one to write reviews, personally I think they take up too much time, but this, this deserves all the time in the world.

The rocky 3 movie is my favorite for so many reasons, but I won’t bog you down with those. John rivoli did the most amazing thing, and he painted that poster in a way that’s never been done before. As a musician and composer I appreciate artist of all kinds, and words can not describe the feeling of ecstasy when I got my print.

It was like everything was going to be ok. Because if rocky could have everything and feel like nothing and bounce back, so can I. I have a rocky keychain, hoodie, sweatshirt and poster but if I had to I’d trade all of that for this one painting. I would. They say a picture is a thousand words, and if that’s true, then this painting is award winning novel.

I met John Rivoli at the 2019 Rocky Run and found him to be very down to earth & easy to talk to. What I also discovered that day is how amazing his Rocky paintings are. I have been a Rocky fan my whole life and seeing the images he recreated up close was outstanding. I immediately bought two small paintings for my office and then most recently bought three more (all Rocky 3...my favorite one). I have no doubt more of John’s Rocky prints will be on my walls. If you are a huge Rocky fan, you must own some of John’s work!!
