FOTO SEGNALE DI RAMBO

This painting is the only time we can see the mugshot in color, as the original photo was in black and white, and never even made it into the movie. I heard Sly mention once, while signing posters of the mugshot, that it was his favorite photo of himself. He just thought it perfectly encapsulated who he was, and he loved every part of it. John took an already amazing picture, and turned it into a fantastic painting, adding color to make it even better. I love it.

It’s all in the eyes. This is my all time favorite picture of Sly Stallone. The detail put into this painting to convey the “vibe” of such an iconic Rambo moment, is dead-on accurate. Absolutely love it! John’s detail never disappoints!
