IN ROCKYHOOD

My first John Rivoli piece. I drove from Toronto Canada, to Manhattan and met John in his office. There, I had the opportunity to meet John, talk about Rocky, and hand pick a piece of his work. He told me this was Sly's favourite. I didn't hesitate. Sly leaving Mickey's gym, roaming the streets of Philly bouncing his ball and collecting money for a local loneshark. Amazing artwork John! The icing on the cake would have been to meet my idol Sly. Maybe next time 🥊

I love Rocky and I Philadelphia- this artwork by John captures the serene spirit of both. A quiet moment in Rocky’s life as he contemplates his future.
Prompt shipping, great communication and careful packaging were all appreciated of course. I suspect more of John’s work will be heading my way.
