Triumph Over Adversity

John featured this piece prominently at the 2019 Rocky Balboa Run, and for good reason. Possibly no other piece of art in Philly is more popular, or more revered, than the Rocky Statue. For me, it speaks to the possibility of triumph over any kind of adversity, and against any odds.

This piece draws out that feeling for me, while pulling in all kinds of Rocky-themed imagery. I purchased it at that Rocky Balboa Run and have never regretted it for a second. Mr. Rivoli's interpretation of this revered statue is inspiring, creative, and extremely dynamic. I discover more in this image every time I look at it.
