I imagined it’s 1976 and I’ve just been asked to create the official movie poster for ROCKY. What do I do?

I go right to the heart of the story — the night before the big fight — when Rocky visits the ring and realizes he has no shot at defeating Apollo Creed. It is in this moment that Rocky shifts his mind from his “want” to win the fight, to his “need” to go the distance, and prove he’s not a bum.

My original ALONE IN THE RING painting captures this moment — one that resonates with all of us. Here, I reimagine it as the official ROCKY film poster. The powerful imagery is complete with Rocky’s quote at the bottom, telling us exactly what he intends to achieve.
