I once again draw upon the underdog “against all odds” motif of the Rocky films, by focusing on this moment when Rocky defeats Clubber Lang — the massive heavyweight powerhouse, who viciously beats Rocky earlier. As Rocky leaps in the air, I position a source of light, as if it were raising him up to the heavens.
